I am wanting to start a crochet group in my area, since there are none listed under any of the searches I have done. If anyone has any suggestions on how to go about this, please let me know.
I would put up a sheet with your number avaible to tear off at your local library and any coffee shop/girly joint you know of. Also check on Ravelry and Yahoo groups. You can post a thread on Ravelry and Crochetville about it too. I'm guessing you don't have a LYS to post it at?
Thanks for the comment. I do not have a local yarn shop to postin, however I'm only 3 blocks from the public library and a few coffee shops. I do not know of anyone around who crochets but I'm sure there are many others since its such a common craft. I would even be willing to help non-crocheters learn and would also welcome knitters too. Thanks for the tips on Ravelry and Crochetville, they both completly slipped my mind.
