Will be a Senior in 3 days!

I am so excited. I will be a “Senior” in college in just 3 short days! It has flown by SO fast! I have 6 weeks left and am so ready to get out and get to work in my new career!

I have been so busy with school that I decided to start my Christmas shopping really early. However, that may have been a bad idea. The boys have been asking for laptops for their Christmas gifts for 2 or 3 years now. Well last Thursday I went ahead and bought them each one and bought myself a new one. I opened mine because I needed it for school since my other one died. The boys were heartbroken and ended up talking me into giving them theirs early… Hmmm. Looks like I’ll be back to major shopping at exam time anyway. LOL

Haven’t had time to do ANY crochet or knitting in the last 3 or 4 weeks because of this Pharmacology class. It’s so hard learning to calculate drug doses. Whew! I have the second part of that class this 6 weeks along with 2 others. Then it’s on to my externship in a clinic for a few weeks!

I really miss being able to read everyone’s blogs daily. I’ll get back to that as soon as I can. I just need to focus on finishing school right now!

Happy Crochet!

It's nice to be back after having my computer out of commission for a while. I'm glad you're doing well in college. I know how much you wanted this and I'm so happy it's all working out for you. It does make a difference when you're enthusiastic about your classes. One just seems to absorb information better when you really, really want to learn.
I know all about calculating doses and drugs because I'm a licensed Pharmacy Technician (California license) although I'm not practicing anymore, I remember how hard I had to work on earning that Certificate...it's constant work to keep up with the drugs and the ever changing pharmaceuticals. I really enjoyed that profession and really hated to have to give it up (due to my bad hips and back) but I was never bored ;-)

You're in my contest - several times - and I hope you win. Have a great weekend and it's nice to "see" you again :-)

p.s. you're in my Giveaway - it's not a contest, sorry!
